Mr. Webjay, Lucas Gonze, explains on his weblog that there’s a very simple way to extract links from the Podsafe Music Network website.
You can even make it more userfriendly by adding a searchstring on top of that. Like this link I have created for you by using my name as searchstring. I could simply create a webform with one text-field on it so you could type in any name and it will in return autogenerate a Webjay play/download page for you!
This is not a hack, pure extracting URL’s from the source-pages of the Podsafe Music Network!
I have contacted Adam Curry a few times in the past by email but he never replied. I do think this is an issue because Adam made an announcement that Podsafe Music Network will soon (next week?) start a special music shop which would generate an income for the Podsafe musicians as well as providing an affiliate deal for the Podcasters who are podcasting that music. A cool idea, but why would anyone pay for something which is freely available?

thanks for finding this out – it shoudl stimulate them to protect music more – after all it is already in MP3 format (not protected)…
