DiSfish music while doing shopping

DiSfish, my online-label for music which I am running with Cezary Ostrowski, is helping musicians who believe in Creative Commons licenses for their music. Because Creative Commons creates a more open system for people who are interested in doing remixing, mashups, podcasting and more while offering legal protection against commercial ripoffs at the same time.

One of the ideas with DiSfish is to license our music in traditional markets as well. For example television and film. But also: shops. Therefore we started the Creative Hipermarket idea, which was growing slowly, but now it suddenly worked out!

There is a company interested in doing a new record with Creative Hipermarket music every half a year. The record will be sold to shops and hipermarkets as an alternative to commercially labeled and restrictivly copyrighted Ambient, Chill, Lounge and Club music.

2006 will be the year of DiSfish. More news is on it’s way… So stay sharp!

Update: Thanks Victor!
