I have told this a few times, but well here I go again slightly different.
Windows is a functional system but in no way I have grown attached to it. Sure, I do love the audio-applications I can run on it, but I don’t like the issues and the proprietary bullshit they put into it. Same as for Apple. Both companies get serious booboo’s from my side because of their childish ways of doing business. This is not about innovation at all, this is ONLY about money. ONLY about money.
So what do I want? Linux. Probably Ubuntu. And hell yeah! Cory Doctorow is switching to Ubuntu as well.
I’ve been a Mac user since 1984, and have a Mac tattooed on my right bicep. I’ve probably personally owned 50 Macs, and I’ve purchased several hundred while working as an IT manager over the years. I’m about to make the same switch, for much the same reasons.
I think we’re all switching because of the same reasons. Or am I wrong here?
Okay, let me tell you: I can’t switch right now. I NEED Reason. But I do hope Propellerhead is listening…

Yes, thanks. I have checked those a long time ago. Need to do that again. Hope things have improved since then (2 years ago).
